The Brown County Library Board of Trustees seeks a dynamic, innovative leader to administer its award winning, fully automated, consolidated county library system headquartered in Green Bay, Wisconsin. The National Library of the Year in 1994 and twice Wisconsin Library of the Year serves a population of 232,000 with a Central Library, 8 branches, a bookmobile, 92 FTE, a collection of 520,000, an annual budget in excess of $6 million and a circulation of over 2.3 million. Minimum Qualifications: MLS from an ALA-accredited program and a record of progressively responsible experience in library administration.
Additional Qualifications: Demonstrated library leadership, exceptional interpersonal skills, solid management achievements; ability to work effectively with elected and public officials, staff and the community; ability to provide strong leadership to Library Board and represent board decisions to staff, County Board and administration, and the community; excellent human relations skills and financial management capability. A record of community involvement and fund raising experience is preferred.
