    Responsibilities: The Associate Director/Head of Public Services (The “Associate Director”) will assist the Law Library Director in all aspects of library management, including planning library operations and services, personnel management, budgetary oversight, legal research instruction and planning. The Associate Director is responsible for the daily operations of the law library and, as Head of Public Services, for all public services provided by the Evans Law Library including reference, research support and instruction, circulation, interlibrary loan, and the faculty liaison program. The Associate Director will assume responsibility for the library in the absence of the Director. Qualifications: J.D. degree from an ABA approved law school and MLS from an ALA accredited institution. Minimum of five years law library experience, preferably in an academic law library. Excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to relate to diverse groups of constituencies and users. Conversant in all forms of research tools. Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as superior organizational, planning, management and teaching skills Strong public service philosophy.
