The Wadsworth Library has an opening for the following position:
Children's Librarian, Part-time
MLS required.
The position is 19-25 hours per week with two evenings and rotating Saturdays.
Duties: reference service, children's programming and preparation, publicity, outreach, collection development, and assistance to the Director.
Qualifications: enjoys working with children, creative, positive attitude, computer experience, knowledge of children's literature is preferred.

Wadsworth Library is one of the oldest public libraries in New York State. The building opened for service in 1869, and a new addition was completed in 1996. Included in the addition was a new children's room and a meeting room that is an excellent space for library programs. The Town of Geneseo is a community of avid readers!
